I'm back baby!

Ever since Online Poker was "criminalized" (for lack of a better word) I've dropped playing WOW for the most part and am back to online poker. That's just the way I roll; you tell me I can't do something and I'll spit in your face and get right back to it. I'm a little rusty and playing like a pussy for the most part but that will change. Right now I'm just doing low limit turbos on Stars and will gradually move up.

FUCK Party! OK now that I've got that out of my system I'm sure they have very good reasons for leaving the US market. Afterall they have more to lose than anyone else. People are bashing the shit out of them on 2+2 but really, do you think they WANT to leave? Shit no. Give it up people. Move to Stars or Full Tilt or Bodog or wherever while the party is still going (pun intended).

My regular home game is this Saturday and I really need to win this to get into our tournament of Champions. We've been taking a rake off the top for a freeroll at the end of the year and I've not done well at all, and I consider myself the best player there. Hmmm, maybe I'm not the best....

I need to get into some damn blogger tourneys. Can you keep a secret? Good. The main reason I started a blog was because I wanted to get into some blogger only tourneys and I've YET to play in one! Damn, that needs to stop!

The end of the world is near

No, I don't mean the poker legislation that was passed. I'm actually feeling better everyday about that; I don't think it's going to have any real teeth. No, the end of the world was due to a frightening book I saw last night at Barnes and Nobles; wait for it...it's the Graham Kerr book, "Graham Kerr's Simply Splenda Cookbook." Sweet Jesus, a book about cooking with Splenda. I fear for us all.

Fucking Republicans

And unlike most of the people who's blogs I read I DO consider myself a Republican. Before people start throwing crap my way let me be the first to say the Christian Right wing of the party makes me violently sick to my stomach. In actuality I'm a fiscal conservative and a moderate everywhere else.

So, Bill Frist snuck the poker bill through with a port security bill. Despicable. Rot in hell bitch. I'm still following all the fallout but it's not looking pretty at the moment. AND I just started playing again online last week! Me thinks I'll still play just to say a big "Fuck You" to our legistlature.

As for the Paris plans: My bro and I are going to be renting a kick-ass two bedroom apartment on the left bank about a half mile from the Eiffel Tower. Should be sweet!
